DIRECTOR: BLAKE EDWARDS

CAST: PETER SELLERS

The second outing for Inspector Jacques Clouseau, here haplessly and hopelessly in love with Elke Sommer, the prime suspect in a multiple murder spree. Offers perhaps Sellers most nuanced performance as Clouseau, both pathetically lovelorn and hysterically blundering, as well as the maiden voyage for many members of the Pink Panther supporting cast, including André Maranne as the bemused François; Herbert Lom as his apoplectic boss, Commissioner Dreyfusl and Burt Kwouk as Clouseau’s sneak-attacking sidekick Cato.
